‘caring is freedom, its empowerment’

live in care

Having a live-in carer means that our clients can continue to enjoy life on their own terms.

Live-in care is an increasingly popular alternative to residential care, as it allows your loved one to keep control of their life.

If living alone or with a partner is becoming increasingly difficult, we can provide that little bit of extra support they need to maintain as much of their independence as possible.

How to choose the right care

Feeling overwhelmed? We can help

Choosing the right care for a loved one can be daunting. A family member may need more support than you can provide but feel anxious at the thought of living in a residential care home.

Caring for a parent or relative can be stressful and we understand that it’s even harder if you don’t live near them or you’re juggling work and family commitments. Choosing the right moment to discuss their care is never easy.

Whether you’re looking ahead or find yourself having to make immediate plans, we can give you the tools and advice to help you approach the tricky conversations.

Live in for couples

We love providing live-in care for couples, as we understand how important it is to stay together.

We ask you to guide us so that we don’t intrude on your relationship. We want you to continue to enjoy each other’s company without us getting in the way.

You may be struggling to support and care for each other, and to maintain your independence. Just a little support from us can be all you need to keep enjoying each other’s company.

Respite care

Although caring for a loved one is your utmost priority, we understand how emotionally and physically demanding it can be.

For many people considering respite care, it can be difficult to make the initial call to us as you may feel like it’s an acknowledgement that you’re not quite coping anymore.

We see it in a slightly, different light. We like to support couples to stay together and often some time away to recharge your batteries is all that you need to keep on the right track.

If you don’t need specialist care but are struggling to get out and about as much as you’d like, our carers are on hand to keep you company.

If you’re lonely at home and you just want someone to pop in, we’d love to provide a friendly face, or perhaps you’re just struggling with some of the day-to-day tasks of running your home.

Having a live-in carer, or a carer who visits each day can provide assistance with a whole range of jobs that could really help you to remain in control, as well as benefit from companionship.

overnight care

Having a carer stay overnight in case of a problem allows our clients to maintain their independence and stay in control of their lives.

It may be that your relative is recovering from an operation and they have visitors in the day but need a little extra reassurance through the night.

We recognise that live-in overnight care can provide peace of mind to both our clients and their relatives. Our carers will arrive before your loved one goes to bed, and stay through the night, just in case.

specialist care

We pride ourselves on our ability to provide specialist live in care without losing focus of the person behind the condition.

Whilst some of our clients simply need a little help around the home, others require expert care for their specific needs.

Families often contact us when their loved one has had a setback or a fall, or if they’ve been discharged from hospital and need a little extra support until they get back on their feet. We take the stress out of difficult situations, and can provide urgent care within 48 hours of your call.

General Questions

Home care options such as live in care will help to offer you or your loved one the sense of independence which can so easily be lost as we grow older. Live in care allows you to stay in a familiar environment and be surrounded by home comforts, whilst also offering assistance and peace of mind. Home care can allow you to build up a stronger, one on one relationship with your carer than you may be able to build in a residential home and can offer friendship as well as care. exercitation.

Live in care costs compare favourably to residential or nursing care homes. The cost for couples is even better value for money because with live in care you only pay one fee for the carer, whereas in a care home you would pay for two beds.

All costs are custom designed to suite individual and family needs.

If you and your partner want to stay in your own home together but require extra support, we can provide a carer to help couples in their own home as a cost effective alternative to paying for two beds in a residential care home.
